The finest Italian artistry and craftsmanship. When a jewel becomes emotion.
Established in Milan in 1967, Pomellato is distinguished by unique, exclusive design—distinctive and elegant, yet unconventional—combining refined craftsmanship with a contemporary spirit. Pomellato creations are born from masterful artisanal expertise, handcrafted in the Milanese goldsmithing tradition, where color, chains, and volume come together in perfect balance. Innovative cutting and setting techniques enhance colored gemstones and diamonds — and, over time, have come to define the Maison’s unmistakable, iconic style.
Every Pomellato jewel is unique. Created to bring moments of joy or celebrate a special occasion—and above all, to be loved and worn every day. Our creations have always been crafted from precious materials, held to the highest quality standards, making their uniqueness even more extraordinary. A few simple tips to keep them shining over time:
• Avoid contact with salt water and thermal water, cosmetics, perfumes, soaps, detergents, chlorine, and any other harsh substances.
• For everyday cleaning, use a mild detergent and a soft cloth.
• Store each jewel separately in a soft pouch, in a dry place away from heat and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. At your convenience, we will be delighted to welcome you to the boutique for a professional cleaning of your Pomellato jewelry. As every jewel evolves over time and with wear, you may notice natural changes in the brilliance of your gold creations. Pomellato’s master goldsmiths are always available to restore your jewelry’s original surface finishes.
COLORED GEMSTONES AND DIAMONDS
Colored gemstones and diamonds are precious materials that should be handled with care and delicacy: it is important to avoid impacts and thermal shocks that could cause damage or breakage.
PEARLS AND HARD STONES
Jewelry with pearls and hard stones can be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Since 2018, Pomellato has used gold sourced through selected supply chains that meet stringent specifications approved by the Kering Precious Metals Platform, including traceability criteria, environmental and social requirements, and independent audits. This approach ensures that the supply chain is managed according to defined, monitored standards. The majority of the gold used (around 95%) is certified recycled gold in accordance with the RJC Chain of Custody (CoC) standard, while a smaller share comes from artisanal and small-scale mines (ASMs) certified Fairmined or Fairtrade. Through these purchases, Pomellato helps fund projects in ASM communities, including initiatives to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions as well as programs dedicated to educational development and to advancing women’s rights in mining communities. Pomellato is certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) under the COP (Code of Practices) and COC (Chain of Custody) standards, underscoring its commitment to meeting the sustainability and social responsibility requirements set out by these standards.
